Principal's Message

Welcome to J.S. Aucoin Elementary. On behalf of the J.S.A. family, we are looking forward to a very successful year. With your help and cooperation, we can make Aucoin Elementary the place where we try to instill the Mighty Lion Motto in each and every student: “Good, Better, Best! Never let it rest. ‘Til your Good is Better, and your Better is the BEST!”

The goal of Aucoin Elementary is to educate a student to his/her fullest potential. With the continuous changes in education to set the bar higher for Louisiana students, we must work together to reach this goal. Educating your child is our top priority, but it is a team effort. I encourage you to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions throughout the year regarding curriculum, activities, or any other concerns. I am happy to have you and your child as part of the Aucoin Elementary family, and I hope we can successfully work together to help your child meet his/her fullest potential.
